The Savannah African Art Museum is a gem. Go visit. If you are lucky, you will wrangle a guided tour. Incredible place chock full of stuff you don’t know.

Do they provide any explanations for the items on display? It looks intriguing, but I imagine that without a tour, it might be hard to understand what you’re looking at and the cultural significance behind it.

Yes, they do. And they are incredibly knowledgeable. The ED in particular is a vivacious scholar filled with facts interconnected across multiple cultures.
