.75 oz cask strength bourbon or overproof rye
.75 oz sweet vermouth (cheap is better, such as martini rosso)
.25 oz amer picon
Stir. Serve up in a small glass with a Luxardo cherry.

Amazingly, nobody imports Amer Picon to the US. So you have to go get it. Oh well, it’s a good reason to go to France.
