It’s great to have a trail on the monastery.  The only problem is monks don’t have chainsaws.  So, time to get ours out!

Kids in the House, er, on the River

How did you know that we brought champagne on the river instead of beer?

Lots of eagles and other big birds on this float. Ah, summer.

Sure is nice to have all of the progeny home at once.

Monday on the Shenandoah

It’s so nice to be out on the river in May…on a Monday…with friends…and champagne!

The Dame’s Rocket is still going on the banks.

Snapper!

Eagle’s nest on Island one.  We missed finding one from last year.  Must be gone.

Lunch on a rock featuring Tim Tams and Veuve Cliquot.

All champagne models are over 18.

New stairs solves the problem.  Looks like this will last a decade.

What goes down.

Also leads back up.

The Shenandoah is drying out after a month of no rain.  Climate change is going to really suck even on the east coast.

Bluebells Peak April 2, 2023

It’s early for the peak.  But the peak it is along the banks of the Shenandoah.

Romey looks like a bluebell too.

Moonshine does not look like a bluebell.  Nor does he smell like one.

There are also other flowers available.
